Bird Watching
The Fries VA, New River Trail State Park, and Southwestern Virginia area in general is home to many interesting bird species. Although viewed ocassionally fishing over the New River, we haven't been able to get a good photo of the resident Bald Eagles of Fries VA. This is a sampling of some of our birds seen on a regular basis.
